This profile previously said she was born on 10 May 1701. This birth date is based on a damaged North Kingstown record, the remnant of which says "(---)h Place was born the 10th day of May 170(---)." This refers to Enoch, son of Thomas and Hannah (Cole) Place. The latter couple didn't have a daughter Sarah. Sarah (Place) Jones of this profile was the daughter of Thomas Place, Jr., and Margaret Stafford, estimated to have been born in 1730.^[1] She should be merged with Sarah Place.
