Biography

Frederick was born in 1901 to John PLATTE and his wife, Anna PROVOST.

He grew up in New York State, where he can be found living with his family in the 1905 New York State Census ^[1] and the 1910 US Census. ^[2]

By 1920, his family had moved to Quincy, Illinois. ^[3]

In 1921, he married Margaret "Nellie" AGNEW. ^[4] Together they were the parents of:

1. Richard PLATTE
2. Barbara PLATTE ^[5]

In 1927, he married Marion WEBER. ^[6] Together they were the parents of a son. ^[7]

They made their home in Burlington Iowa, where his wife Marion was from. ^{[8] [9]}

In 1950, he and Marion were still living in Burlington, with his son from his first marriage, RIchard. ^[10]

Marion passed away in 1975. Fred later remarried as he was married at the time of his death.

He passed away in 1991. ^[11]

He was cremated and his ashes were possibly interred in Aspen Grove Cemetery next to his second wife Marion's grave, where his name is inscribed on a cemetery marker. ^[12]
