Biography

Thomas Platts was born in about 1743 and had an Anglican christening on 3rd April 1743 in Coleorton, Leicestershire, England. He was the son of Thomas and Anne Platts. [1]

Thomas Platts, a coal miner, married Rebecca Field by banns on 13th May 1765 in Coleorton, Leicestershire, England. They both made their mark in the presence of William Hames and George Dexter. Francis Harris, curate, officiated. [2]
