Biography
Georgeania Chicheley was born in 1840 and baptised on the 20th August 1840 at Meerut, India, the daughter of T.J.C. Plowden, H.C. Civil Service and Frances Wilhelminna his wife[1]
Georgina Chicheley, spinster of Calcutta, daughter of Trevor John Chicheley Plowden, married William Grey, widower of Calcutta, son of Edward Grey, on the 26th January 1865 at St. Pauls Cathedral, Calcutta, India[2]
"Marriages- On the 26th Jan. at St. Pauls Cathedral, Calcutta, by the Bishop of Calcutta, William Grey Esq., of the Bengal Civil Service to Georgina Chichele, eldest daughter of Trevor Chichele Plowden Esq., late of the Bengal Civil Service"[3]
Lady Georgina Grey passed away in 1936 at Court Royal, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England[4].
"The funeral took place at the Borough Cemetery, Tunbridge Wells, on Monday, of Lady Georgina Chichele Grey, widow of Sir William Grey, who passed away at Court Royal, Tunbridge Wells, last week in her 97th year. The internment was preceded by a service at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church"[4]
