Biography

Elizabeth Plummer was born in about 1815 in Horsham, Sussex. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Plummer. She was christened on 17 Oct 1815 in Horsham.

Elizabeth married Henry Lintott, a cattle salesman, on 21 Jun 1842 in Horsham. Neither had been married before, and their fathers were named as John Lintott and John Plumer.

Elizabeth died in 1883, aged 69, at Tilthams House, Godalming. She was buried on 17 Nov 1883 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.

Henry died on 25 Apr 1905 at 38 Shakespeare Road, Herne Hill, London, aged 86. He was buried on 29 Apr 1905 with his wife.

This grave was photographed after grave 2159 (consecrated) and before grave 2156; what is visible of the name matches only grave 2157 and not grave 2158 (or 2075), so it can be confidently identified as the grave of Henry and Elizabeth Lintott.
