Biography
Eliza Maria Plumptre was born in 1786, she was the daughter of Reverend Henry Plumptre.
She married Reverend Thomas Anthony Methuen, son of Paul Cobb Methuen and Matilda Gooch, on 3 July 1810 at St. George, Ham, Kent, England.[1] Children of Eliza Maria Plumptre and Reverend Thomas Anthony Methuen:
- Reverend Thomas Plumptre Methuen, b. 14 Aug 1814, d. 2 Feb 1910
- Henry Hoare Methuen, b. 1818, d. 10 Oct 1883
- Pemberton Methuen, b. 25 Nov 1820, d. 25 Mar 1835
- Francis Paul Methuen, b. 18 Nov 1823, d. 31 Jul 1902
- Polydore Bridges Methuen, b. 19 Sep 1825, d. Dec 1826
Eliza died at the age of 49 on 16 April 1835; her Obituary was carried in Berrow's Worcester Journal, Worcestershire and Herefordshire, England[2][3]
