Charles was born in about 1777 in Loughborough, Leicesteshire. [1] He studied at Clare College Cambridge at Michaelmas in 1795 and graduated in 1797. [2] Charles married Ann Jane Winstanley in Braunstone, Leicestetshire, in 1802. [3] He was High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1816. Charles died in Barkby, Leicestershire, in 1817. [4]
