Mrs. Driggers, 58, Of Florence Dies
Florence, Feb. 1 - (Special) - Mrs. Minnie Driggers, 58, of 318 S. McFarland street, Florence, died Sunday morning at the McLeod infirmary after an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Driggers was born in Florence county the daughter of the late Henry Poston of Marlboro county and Henrietta Miller Poston of Florence county. Her husband Holland Driggers, died many years ago. For the past 12 years Mrs. Driggers had been a resident of this city where she was a faithful member of the Emanuel Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held at the Hickory Grove church in Marlboro county near Cheraw at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Driggers is survived by two sons, C. W. Driggers of Florence, and by one brother, H. H. Poston of Bennettsville.
Half sisters and half brothers surviving are: Mrs. Carie Clay, Mrs. Lucien Bottoms, Mrs. Lela Poston, John S. Poston, A. B. Poston and Leon Poston all of Bennettsville. Three grandchildren also survivie
