Biography

Edmund Philip Porter was born on 1 November 1879 in London, England, United Kingdom, son of Edmund Robinson Porter and Kate Tharpe.

In the 1891 census Edmund (age 11), Student, was a pupil in Bradfield, Berkshire, England.[1]

In the 1906 census Edmund (age 26) was the single boarder of Herbert Stewart in Humboldt No. 370, Saskatchewan, Canada.[2]

Edmund's marriage to Mildred A Michell was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1912 in the Marylebone district.[3][4]

Edmond immigrated in 1920 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.[5]

Edmund's daughter Evelyn Ella Patricia Porter married Francis Constant Hall on 9 January 1937 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.[6]

Edmund's wife Mildred Alice Porter died on 16 February 1937 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.[7][8]

Edmund (age 59) married Julia Marion Elizabeth Williams (age 31) on 17 November 1938 in Westholme, North Cowichan, British Columbia, Canada.[9]

Edmund, son of Edmund Porter & Kate Sharp, died (age 92) on 11 August 1972 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.[10]

Edmund died on 11 August 1972 and was buried in Duncan, Cowichan Valley Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.[11]
