Sieuke Jaspers Posthumus was born about 1807 in Holwerd, Friesland, Nederland.
Sieuke (20) and Hotze Jantjes Zaturdag (24) were married on 12 April 1828 in Westdongeradeel, Friesland. Hotze was born on 18 May 1803 in Dokkum, Friesland. He was the son of Jantjen Hotzes Zaturdag (1766–1840) and Jitske Harings Maayer (1772–1847). Their son was Jitze Hotzes Zaturdag (3 April 1836 – 25 January 1911).
Sieuke died on 10 March 1882 in Holwerd, aged 74.
