When James Calhoun Potter was born on July 3, 1892, in Trilby, Florida, his father, J, was 39 and his mother, Charlotte, was 30. He had one son and two daughters with Roxie Elizabeth Witmore between 1923 and 1930. He died on December 30, 1946, in Florida at the age of 54, and was buried in Bay Pines, Florida.[1]
