Biography

Joseph Poulin was born on 16 Oct 1833 and was baptized the next day in Saint-François-d'Assise parish in Beauceville, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Pierre Poulin and Angelique Lessard. Sponsors at Joseph's baptism were Ignace Lessard and Brigitte Rancour.

At age 29 Joseph married Marguerite Latulippe on 13 Jan 1863 in Saint-François-d'Assise parish in Beauceville, Canada East. There were eight known children born into this marriage.
