Mary was born in 1785. She passed away in 1829.
Elizabeth's parentage is uncertain, but the fact that she named one of her sons Lewis T., with the "T" probably representing Tune, suggests her father could well have been Lewis Tune, 1717-1773. In Mecklenburg Co. "Toone" is the common spelling. It is odd that Elizabeth never used it. As yet, no documentation has been found to show her parentage.
She is probably buried in the abandoned Pounds-Moon Cemetery, located in Chatham Co., N.C. Although the cemetery is on private property, it is documented on the Chatham County Historical Association's site. None of the stones is legible.
Elizabeth's ten known children are listed on her husband's site.
