Theresa Catherine Povey was born on February 12, 1899 in Cooma, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of William Henry Povey (1848–1921) and Bridget Kelly (~1862–1911).
Theresa (29) married Frederick Charles Byrne (44) (born on February 22, 1884 in Bega, New South Wales, Australia) in 1929 in Queanbeyan, New South Wales. Their son was Dennis James Byrne (1934–1997).
Theresa died on March 16, 1987, aged 88. She was buried in Michelago Cemetery, Michelago, New South Wales.
