Biography
Thomas Power (born ca. 1530), also known as "Thomas of Culefin", married Joan Tobin, daughter of Thomas Tobin, Lord of Compshinagh (Compsy) and they had at least 7 children.[1]. Thomas died on 10 Oct 1564.[2]

- Peter, of Culefin, who married Catherine, daughter of William Wall,[4] of Coolenemucky in the county of Waterford, Esq
- Richard, who married Gyles, daughter of David Power, of Coohoe, in the same county, gentleman
- John, who died without issue

- ↑ In his 2-volume History of the Fanning Family (1905), W.F. Brooks publishes the "Registered Pedigree of James Fanning" (Dublin, 1776) of Stonehouse, Co. Waterford, covering 12 generations from the 1400s to 1700s. The Latin pedigree records that James is a descendant of this "Juliana Power" (daughter of Thomas Power of Culefin, squire [armiger] Co. Waterford) and "Galfridus Fanning" of Ballingarry, Co. Tipperary. The intervening generations (i.e., their descendants) are as follows:
