Biography

William was born in 1848. He was the son of Robert Pratt and Isabella Mitchell. ^[1]

He married Ann Emslie in Feb, 1868. ^[2]

In June 1868 they had a daughter:

Isabella (Hizer) 1868-1944

In September 1868, Ann died of typhoid fever. ^[3]

He came to the US in 1873. (1900 Census)

He married the widow of Adam McClure, Jennie Wilson in 1874. ^[4]

They had the following children:

1. Mary Jane (Mulroney) 1877–1967
2. Mable M. (Spangenberg) 1879-1917
3. Kathryn "Kitty" (Neff) 1882–1962
4. Daisy Pratt 1882–1888

Jennie died in 1908 and William went to live with his daughter Isabella in California. ^[5]

He passed away in 1923. ^[6]
