The death has occurred of Mrs. Agnes Price, the widow of the late Mr. E. T Price, who for many years was employed by A. and G. Price, Limited, Thames. Mr. and Mrs. Price came to Thames in 1871 from Auckland. Mrs. Price left Scotland when she was 11 years old and on being married they came to reside at Bird-in-Hand Hill, Thames. Mrs. Price occupied the same house for the past 59 years. Mr. Price died in 1922. Mrs. Price leaves eight daughters and five sons, Mr. J. Price, Matamata; Mr. K. E. Price, Te Aroha; Mr. E. T. Price, Dannevirke; Mr. W. Price, Kerepeehi; Mr. George Price, Thames; Mrs. Connolly, Mrs. J. Donald and Mrs. George, of Auckland; Mrs. Wyatt, Pukekohe; Mrs. Redwood, Whangarei, Mrs. Mackie, Te Aroha; Mrs. Phelps, Ngatea; and Miss Price, Thames. There are 44 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
