Was daughter of Josiah Green and Melissa Caroline Little Price.

Funeral services for Mrs. Theata Lunsford, East Orchard Lane, will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the West Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Mrs. Lunsford died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness.

O.H. Tabor, Lubbock, former pastor of the Church of Christ (Fox and Lake) here, and M.E. Blake, pastor of the church now, will officiate at the services. Mrs. Lunsford will be buried by the side of her husband, Newton, who died in 1934.

A resident of this area since 1923, Mrs. Lunsford was born Feb. 20, 1872, in Sherman Tex. She was a member of the church of Christ.

Survivors include six sons, Albert, J.B., and Thomas of Carlsbad, Hugh and Willie of Olney, Tex., and A.N. of Loving, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Rena McMalicoat, Mrs. L.E. Loman and Mrs. H.M. Pate, all of Carlsbad; three half-brothers, Joe Price of Oil City, La., H.B. Price of Riverside, Calif., and W.T. Price of Noble, La.; and one sister, Mrs. O.B. Lee of Riverside, Calif.
