Morwenna Prideaux-Brune was born on 21 March 1937 on Wokingham, Berkshire She was the daughter of Hugh Prideaux-Brune and Elsie Greenfield. She married Charles David Torlesse in 1962 the elder son of Rear Admiral Arthur David Torlesse ,CB, DSO
They had six children
She died on 14 March 2012 aged 74 in York,Yorkshire
