Biography
Nathan may be the son of Issac Prior. Brothers Nathan [1], Timothy, and John Prior served in the Cumberland County, Pennsylvania Militia in 1780-81. Nathan and Timothy served in Captain John Taylor's Company, 3rd Division, 7th Battalion. John served in Captain Phillip Matthew's Company.
Nathan, who died in 1792, left his estate and minor children in the care of his brothers John and Timothy. The children of Nathan Prior and Abigail Rose are:
