The Singapuran Monarchy

The Kingdom of Singapura was a Hindu-Buddhist kingdom thought to have been established during the early history of Singapore upon its main island Temasek. The kingdom is said to have been founded about 1299 by Sang Nila Utama, whose father was Sang Sapurba, a semi-divine figure, who according to legend, is the ancestor of several Malay monarchs. Singapura existed for about a century, until it was overthrown by forces from the Javanese Empire of Majapahit in about 1398. The five kings of Singapura do not currently have Wikipedia profiles.
