Biography

William John Pulman was born in the 1st Quarter of 1873, at Whitby, Yorkshire, England, where he was baptized on 28 March, 1873, to Henry Corney and Hannah Mary Pulman^[1][2].

The 1881 Census recorded William Pulman, 8, Scholar, living with his parents, Henry C., 40, Drapers Master Emp 3 Apprentices & 3 Women, and Hannah M., 31, at Havelock Place, Ruswarp, Yorkshire,Yorkshire North Riding, England^[3].
