Pte. Frank Quinlivan.
Mrs Quinlivan, of Adelaide, who until a few years ago, resided in Cornish Town, Stawell, is in receipt of the sad news that her son, Pte. Frank Quinlivan, was killed in action on 31st August. He had seen almost two years of war service, and was attached to a machine gun section, having been engaged in some very hot encounters. He was once wounded and returned to the firing line last December. He leaves a wife and young daughter, and sympathy is expressed for his wife and child and mother and family. Pte Quinlivan was at one time on the " News" staff. His brother Rex, is at the front and was well on receipt of last news.
