Biography
“Sir Gervase, Knt. third of that name, (son of the last Gervase Clifton), died 17 Edward II [1323/24] having married Amflicia, daughter of Sir William Sampson, of Esperson Knt. His son was Gervase, who died before him, 9 Edward II [1315/16], leaving by Alice, daughter and heir of Robert de Rabacin, Robert his son, heir to his grandfather.” [1]
