Biography
Jesse Rankin was born in 1795 in Pendleton District, South Carolina, the son of Robert Rankin and Leah Reynolds. Jesse married Cynthia Sellers in 1820 in Livingston, Kentucky. They had seven children, all born in Tennessee, between 1822 and 1837. [1]
