Evaleen was born in early July 1883 in Chickerell, Dorset, England ^[1]. She was the daughter of Richard Randell Rashley and Ellen Randell. Evaleen was baptised on the 29th July 1883 in West Chickerell, Dorset ^[2]. She grew up with her parents and siblings in Chickerell ^[3][4].

Evaleen continued to live with her mother for the rest of her life. She became a school teacher. She never married. ^[5][6].

Evallen died on the 13th August 1937 in Chickerell, Dorset at Weymouth and District Hospital ^[7]. She was just 54 years old. Her will was granted probate on the 15th September 1937 in Blandford, Dorset. She left effects valued at £584 4s 7d to : To Frank Rashley, brother, swan keeper, and Charles George Rashley, brother, carpenter ^[8].
