Delia Ann Rawson was born at Uxbridge, Massachusetts, on 10 Oct 1807, the daughter of Asa Rawson and Polly (Trask) Rawson..^[1]

Marriage

Delia Ann Rawson married Gideon York. No record of the marriage has been found, Delia Ann York's death record gives her maiden name as Rawson, her parents as Asa Rawson and Polly Trask, her birthplace as Uxbridge, and her stated age at her death^[2] matches exactly with the birth date of Delia Ann Rawson, the daughter of Asa Rawson, at Uxbridge, Massachusetts, on 10 Oct 1807. Their first known child was born at Sutton, Massachusetts, on 6 Feb 1829.^[3] Given the bride's place of birth and their subsequent residence at Sutton, Massachusetts, the most likely location for the marriage is somewhere in Worcester County.

Death

Delia Ann (Rawson) York died of liver disease at Milford, Massachusetts, on on 10 Mar 1874, with her age given as 66 years and 5 months.^[2] A FindAGrave memorial with no photo buth with a reproduction of a page of what appears to be a printed list of burials says "Delia A. Rawson, w/o Gideon York (1807-1873) was buried at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Milford;^[4]
