Biography
Ephraim Read (name is spelled "Read" by Anderson in Great Migration Series.)[1]
Origin
Ephraim was born November 23, 1657 at Boston and was baptized the next day, 4 February 1654/5.[1] He was the third child of William Read and his 2nd wife, Ruth Crooke.[1]
The family had originally settled at Weymouth, but by 1646, they had removed to Boston, where William's parents were admitted to the Boston Church on 15 May 1647.[1]
