Biography
Ada Minerva "Minnie" Read, daughter of Ira C. Read and Margaret Ann (Loller) Read, was born on 29 March 1865 in New Jersey.[1] She appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Hope, Warren, New Jersey.[2]
She married Richard Marshall VanHorn, son of Isaac H. and Rebecca (Stillwell) VanHorn, on 29 June 1888 at Hope, Warren, New Jersey.[3][1]
She was a school teacher when she and Richard appeared on the census of 9 May 1910 at Hope, Warren, New Jersey.[4]
Minnie died in 1947 probably in New Jersey and was buried at Moravian Cemetery, Hope, Warren County, New Jersey. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[1]
