In 1765, above the age of 14 years, Adam Reed made the choice of Daniel Reed of Abington to be his guardian.[1]
He married Silence Reed on 14 July 1768 in Abington.[2]
Probate
The will of Adam Reed of Abington, yeoman was dated 26 May 1791 and proved on 2 July 1792 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife but not by name (her name is Silence in the probate proceedings) (executor), and his sister, Tabitha Reed, James Reed, son of his brother Abel Reed, Paul Reed, Thomas Hearsey, Joel Reed, and Adam Reed, son of Obadiah Reed.[3]
