Catherine was born in 1868.

Sources for Maiden Name

In 1901, a Willie Jones lived with the Rees family in Llantwit near the Jones family.^[1] In 1911, he was still there and the Census specifies that he is a nephew of William and Elizabeth Rees.^[2] This Willie Jones was born in the same year as Catherine's son. There is a marriage record from November 19, 1882 between John Jones and Catherine Rees in Llanwddyn, Montgomeryshire, Wales.^[3]
