Percy's birthdate could be 1907 , 1908 or 1909 depending on the documents... Level of Education : elementary, 7th grade . Laborer on a rented farm in Forest, Vernon County , Wisconsin, USA ( in 1935 ) Height 63 , Weight 122 . WW2 Private First Class n° 36 288 395 , 36 th Division, 143 th Infantry Regiment, Company L. He enrolled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He was "killed in Action" on 13 December 1944 in the Vosges/ Alsace campaign France WW22, buried at the American Cemetery in Epinal ( Dinozé ) Plot A, Row 20, Grave 22. No doubt his loss - very close to Christmas time 1944 - left his wife and 7 children totally devastated. Percy was awarded "Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster".
