Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1810 in Virginia. Her parents are at this time unknown. She passed away before 1870 in either Caldwell County, Kentucky or Illinois. She is listed on the 1860 census in Caldwell County, Kentucky but does not appear on the 1870 census with her husband in Franklin County, Illinois.
Elizabeth married Allen Shackelford on 22 December 1824 in Barren County, Kentucky.[1]
In 1860 Allen and Elizabeth were living in Princeton Division, Caldwell County, Kentucky with their children: James, America, and Harvey Shackelford.[2]
