Biography

William Henry Rhaesa was born on August 6, 1870 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA.^[1] He was the son of Léopold Julius Rhaesa and Louisa (Fleck) Rhaesa. At age 11, attending School, he was in his parent's home in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, along with 6 of his siblings.^[2] His Father died in 1881, when William was 11 years old.

William (age 27) Married Florence Creigton Belman on November 8, 1897 in 'Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.^[3]The couple had 7 children.

They made their home in Detroit, Wayne Countoy, Michigan, where William was an assistant Cutter, and Florence was taking care of the home and children, Henry-1, and Frank 3 months old, and a Boarder. Her Mother, Jeanie M Belman-55, was also in the home.^[4]

In 1910 William (age about 39) and Florence (age 34) were living in on Lafayette Boulivard, in Detroit Ward 14, Wayne, Michigan with Frank now 10, and John-5, Louis-3 and William a Baby who were in the home, along with Florence's Mother, Jennie-65. William was a Mattress Cutter in a Mattress Factory. They had lost one child.^[5]

William died at age 44, of self administered Suicide (Bi-Chlondi Poisoning) on July 11, 1915, in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.^[6]
