Biography
Born Philena "Lena" Gertrude Rhodes in 1894. She was the daughter of John W Rhodes and Mary Jane Gibson.
According to a divorce decree, Lena married Joshua Ralph in 1911. The decree which was granted in 1938 states they were married for 27 years. There is no mention of children. Reasons for divorce "Abandoment".
Joshua and Lena were the parents of 5 documented children. Lena was aprox 91 years old when she passed away in 1985.
Lena was buried in the Bethel Town Cemetery in Bethel, Pitt County, North Carolina.
