Edward was the son of Frederick Arthur Rice and Flora Wykkel.[1] He lived with his parents in Grand Rapids, Michigan.[2] His parents divorced and he lived with his mother untill he married in 1916. [3] Edward married Jessie Beatrice Van Haitsma.[4] They lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan[5], but moved to California before 1930.[6] Edward and Jessie did not have children. Edward died in 1980[7] and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles County, California.[8]
