Mary (21) married Thomas Eslick (23) (born on November 3, 1839 in Kenwyn, Cornwall) on April 30, 1863 in St Blazey. [3]
The couple had a son, Tom, while still in Cornwall, and sometime before the birth of their daughter, in 1866 immigrated to the USA. Two more sons were born in 1868 and 1870.
in 1870 the family of 6 is living in Almaden Township, San Jose County, California.
Mary's husband Thomas died in 1873, and in 1874 their daughter also passed away.
Mary died in May, 1926 in Katoomba, Colony of New South Wales, aged 84.[6]

Mrs. Mary Argall (84), wife of Mr. Fred. Argall, died at her residence, 'Frederick Villa', Martin Street, Katoomba, last Monday morning. The funeral left at 11 a.m. on Wednesday for the Church of England portion of Rookwood Cemetery. Deceased, who was an old and respected resident, had been in failing health for some considerable time. She leaves a widower and grown-up family; one son, Mr. Fred. Argall, being a well-known local painter.
