Edward Jones Riddle was born on June 16, 1867, in Robeson, North Carolina, United States. His parents were Richard Riddle (1828–1900) and Jane Tyson (1822–1880). [1] [2]
Edward (21) married Sarah Jane Musselwhite (28) (born in May 1860 in Robeson; daughter of Reuben Musselwhite and Rose Anna Musselwhite) on January 9, 1889, in Robeson. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
Their children were:
- Nathaniel Murphy Riddle (1889–1956)
- Richard Carlton Riddle (1893–1942)
- Annie Cora (Riddle) Bush (1895–1939)
Edward died on 17 June 1945 in Bacon, Georgia, United States, aged 77. [8] He is buried in Big Creek Cemetery, Bacon County, Georgia. [9]
