Biography
Lucretia E. Riggan was born June 1, 1821 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of James and Martha (Nicholson) Riggan, of Warren County, NC. [1]
Lucretia married James Olmstead on January 23, 1844 in Warren County, NC. In 1846, their first child, James, was born in Camden, Michigan. In 1850, they were in Hillsdale, Michigan, with two children. By 1860, their Post Office was Tally Ho, in Ledge of Rock, North Carolina, where they were raising five children. [2] [3] [4] [5]
Lucretia Olmstead died December 11, 1878 in North Carolina. Her burial location is unknown.
