Eliza Rivaz was born on 1 April 1798 at London, England. She was the daughter of Vincent Francis Rivaz and Catherine Perret.
She married Reverend Baden Powell, son of Baden Powell and Hester Powell, on 17 July 1821.
She died on 13 March 1836 at age 37, without issue.
