Goldie was born in 1898. He was the son of Joseph Robbins and Emma Smith. In the 1901 census G Goldie Robbins (age 2), Son, was in Ontario.^[1] Goldie crossed into the United States in February 1909 from Canada.^[2]

Goldie (age 22) married Viola May Chase on 23 July 1921 in Essex, Ontario, Canada.^[3]
