Biography

William was born in London in 1824. He arrived in South Australia on the 'Brightman' in 1850 with his wife Caroline and daughter Eliza Jane. ^[1]

William died on 12 November 1896 in his 73rd year. He left 3 sons and 5 daughters when he died, as well as 39 grandchildren. ^[1][2]
