Thomas Robinson was born in Yorkshire, England.
Thomas was born and baptised in 1778 in Kilham, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of William Robinson (a shepherd) and his wife, Hannah.[1]

Thomas, a labourer, married Sarah Wright in 1801 in Kilham, Yorkshire, England. Both were resident in the parish.[2] Their children were baptised in Kilham:

  • Mary, 1803[4]
  • Juliana, 1805[5]
  • Jane, 1808[6]
  • Ann, 1811[7]
  • William, 1813[8]
  • Thomas, 1816[9]
  • Mary Ann, 1819[10]

Thomas was a shepherd when he died in 1825 at the age of 48. He was buried in Kilham.[11]
