Albert was born in 1860 in Newmarket, Canada West, now Ontario.[1] He was the son of Samuel Rogers and Achsah Cody.[2] He married Mary Ella Elsworth, born in USA.[1][3]
He was a director of Imperial Oil (after his Rogers Queen City Oil Company was bought out) and formerly a partner in Samuel and Elias Rogers Coal Company (later Elias Rogers and Company).[4] That coal firm had been founded in 1876 by his Quaker father (Samuel Rogers) and uncle Elias Rogers (1850–1920), who served as a Toronto alderman for St. Lawrence Ward in 1887.[4]
He passed away in 1932.[5][4][3]
