Where does the 1715 birth date come from? The Pedigree resource file it comes from changed the birth dates of Uri and Mary in order to make it so that he was the father of his sister, Sarah. Therefore, it cannot be trusted.
Who were her parents? There were several “Root” families around during this time.
FamilySearch’s OWT claims Mary is the Mary born in 1731 as the daughter of Elisha and Mary (Scott) Root. However, there are no sources attached to confirm this.
