Edmund de Ros, 10th Lord de Ros of Helmsley was the son of Thomas de Ros, 9th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Philippa Tiptoft. He died on 15 October 1508, unmarried. In 1485 he was restored to his title of 10th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and estates after King Heny VII's accession. 9 years later his brother-in-law Sir Thomas Lovell petitioned parliament to grant him full powers over Edmund and the estate. Edmund died, unmarried and childless and the Barony passed to his great-nephew, Thomas Manners, 1st Earl of Rutland.
