Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South. Burial will be in Wingate Cemetery. The youngest of eight children, she was born to Wilma (Lumbley) and John Rowe on March 4, 1920, in Eden, Texas. Fifty-five years ago, she moved from San Angelo to Abilene. Mrs. Stone worked as a nurse's aide in various nursing homes. She was a member of the Baptist Church and Elks Lodge and Ladies of the Elks (LOE) in Brownwood. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Stone; her parents; two brothers, Fritz Rowe and Joe Rowe; and four sisters, Willie Taylor, Allie Tatum, Johnny McCarty, and Sarah Marie Pennington. Survivors include her daughters, Jeannette Graves and husband, Rufus, of Eula, and Rebecca Martin and husband, Ken, of Kingsville; a sister, Christine Drake of Clyde; ten grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildr
