Biography
Isabelle was born in 1919. She was the daughter of Thomas Rowe and Annie Jenkin. [1]
Her mother died when she was born, and her father died months later at the Levant Tin Mine. Isabelle said in 1999 at the 80th anniversary of the disaster that she and her siblings were brought up single-handed by their oldest sister, Annie. [2]
Isabelle married Henry James in 1955. [3]
She passed away at the age of 90 in 2009. [4]
