Washington "Lee" Rowland was born about 1872 and passed away in 1913.

William, his wife, and two of their children were killed in a devastating F3 tornado on 13 Mar 1913 that hit Rutherford County, Tennessee (and swept parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. ^{[1] [2]}
