Sibbell (Royd) Waterhouse was born in Yorkshire, England.

Sibbell was born about 1551. Her father was William Lerroid. She was christened on 10 March 1551 at Halifax, Yorkshire.^[1]

Sibbell married Richard Waterhouse in 1575 at Halifax, Yorkshire.^[2]

She passed away about 1589. ^{[citation needed]}

Research Noted

I cannot find a burial record around 1589 for Sibbell Waterhouse on Family Search, Ancestry or Findmypast. All searched on 29 August 2019. Unsourced family trees on Ancestry give this death date.

There is a burial on 18 February 1588/1589 for "Sybbell Waterhouse de Warley"^[3] but no husband's name is given which would usually mean she was a widow in this register; if the husband was living, the entry usually says "uxor", wife of, with no forename, and Richard is said to be still alive at this time. Also the daughter attached is born at Skircoat not Warley, and the husband Richard probably either Skircoat or Halifax town, but he does not appear to belong to the parents attached so his township is not known.
